Ghost releases cover of Pet Shop Boys’ “It’s a Sin”

One of the most interesting bands of the past decades, Ghost, led by Tobias Forge, has a quite unique sound, often mixing Heavy Metal, Pop, and even church organs, all of it aligned with the mythology created around the Popes and Cardinals that Tobias has embodied over the years. Besides their praised original songs, the band has also released some excellent covers, often of tracks related to religion. The latest one is “It’s a Sin,” one of the biggest hits by the British duo Pet Shop Boys.

“We wish to inform you that when you’re the ‘main poncho’, you get the keys to the vault. Tomorrow sees the wide release of Ghost’s cover of “It’s A Sin” across streaming services worldwide. It does have us wondering if Frater should be delegating video editing duties too,” the official message of the band said about the track. As the episode ‘Frater Is Delegating‘ shows on their YouTube series, it seems the track will be released as a single and will not be part of a new covers EP.

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
