Sharon says Ozzy Osbourne’s A.I. avatar will go around the world and talk to fans

Sharon Osbourne, widow and manager of Ozzy Osbourne, and their son Jack Osbourne revealed that their family partnered with Hyperreal to create the “digital DNA” of Ozzy Osbourne, including his voice, image and movements. The idea is to take that around the world so fans would be able to talk to him and receive answers in the way he naturally would have.

“The things that you can do with that are just endless. You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice — and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said. We’re going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back.”

Jack added, saying: “It’s kind of scary how it’s really very accurate. He will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers. Technology has come such a long way to where it’s almost drag and drop. You could shoot a template for a commercial … literally prompt what you want digital Ozzy to do in that commercial and you just drop it in. It’s that simple now,” he said (Transcribed by License Global).

Hyperreal previously created a life-sized version of the late comick book legend Stan Lee and people could pay 15 dollars at the Los Angeles Comic Con to speak to his holographic version. The same company developed similar avatars of Paul McCartney, Mike Tyson and Notorious B.I.G.

Jack Osbourne recently confirmed during a livestream on his YouTube channel that the biographical movie about his father, Ozzy Osbourne, already has its script written and will happen. He revealed that he was recently on calls about the project and that it might be released in 2028 or a little later.

Ozzy Osbourne passed away on July 22 at the age of 76, just a few weeks after playing his final solo show and also his last concert with Bill Ward, Tony Iommi, and Geezer Butler as Black Sabbath at the Back at the Beginning festival in their hometown of Birmingham.

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
