The Brazilian Metal band Sepultura was formed in Belo Horizonte, Brazil back in 1984 by the brothers Iggor and Max Cavalera but both of them are not part of the band anymore for a few decades. The two oldest members are Paulo Jr. (Bass – Since 1984) and Andreas Kisser (Guitar – Since 1987) accompanied by Derrick Green (Vocals – Since 1997) and Eloy Casagrande (Drums – Since 2011).

Now the band announced their farewell tour called “Celebrating Life Through Death” and revealed South American and European tour dates.
“After 4 decades filled with ups and downs, having visited 80 countries and countless different cultures, we’ve had the chance to become Brazil’s messenger to the world and spread our colours and rhythms worldwide.”
“We are happy and very grateful for everything we could witness within the past four decades. We have released great albums and played unforgettable shows, cultivated friendships, met our idols, contributed to placing Brazilian metal on the world map, and therefore feel that we can leave the music scene with a sense of duty fulfilled.”
“We’ve always had the best fans in the world, who supported us with praise and criticism, who were demanding and intelligent, who grew together with the band and have always been loyal. Without you, none of this would have been possible. This album and this tour are for you. Dear SepulNation – we love you and always will!” The band said in an official statement.
I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
