Rock concerts scheduled for the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in 2024

The legendary indoor arena originally known as The Forum, which is now The Kia Forum, has existed since 1967 and received throughout the decades countless incredible bands and millions of fans. So many historical concerts happened there and even groups ended their careers there like Slayer in 2019 and Rush in 2015. In 2024 Rock and Roll will continue to be played at the Kia Forum and there are many amazing bands which will perform there.

Groups like The Eagles, Steely Dan, Morrissey, Bruce Springsteen, Sammy Hagar, Loverboy and Iron Maiden will play there in 2024.

The Kia Forum can accommodate approximately up to 18.000 fans. The venue is located 3900 W Manchester Boulevard in Inglewood, California, United States.

January

  • 5 – (Friday) – The Eagles with Steely Dan as opening act
  • 6 – (Saturday) – The Eagles with Steely Dan as opening act
  • 12 – (Friday) – The Eagles with Steely Dan as opening act
  • 13 – (Saturday) – The Eagles with Steely Dan as opening act
  • 27 – (Saturday) – Morrissey

The Eagles are currently on their farewell tour called “The Long Goodbye” and will have Steely Dan as their opening act. The group is formed by Don Henley (Drums and vocals), Joe Walsh (Guitar and vocals),  Timothy B. Schmit (Bass and vocals), Vince Gill (Guitar and vocals) and Deacon Frey (Guitar and vocals). Their setlist has original Eagles songs and also solo tracks from Don Henley and Joe Walsh.

As for the British singer Morrissey, who was originally the vocalist of The Smiths, his current tour celebrates the 20th anniversary of “You Are The Quarry”. It is his seventh studio album and it was released in 2004, it has the hit “Irish Blood, English Heart”.

April

  • 4 – (Thursday) – Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band
  • 7 – (Sunday) – Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band

“The Boss” Bruce Springsteen will return in 2024 after a few months recovering from peptic ulcer. His current setlist has almost 30 songs that covers almost all the hits of his career besides some great b-sides.

The E Street Band is currently formed by Garry Tallent (Bass), Roy Bittan (Piano), Max Weinberg (Drums), Steven Van Zandt (Guitar), Nils Lofgren (Guitar), Patti Scialfa (Backing vocals). Other three musicians also tour with Springsteen’s band, which are: Soozie Tyrell (Violin, backing vocals), Charles Giordano (Organ, accordion, synthesizer) and Jake Clemons (Saxophones).

August

  • 10 – (Saturday) – Alanis Morissette with Joan Jett and Morgan Wade as opening acts
  • 19 – (Monday) – Sammy Hagar (Joe Satriani, Jason Bonham and Michael Anthony are in his band). The Canadian band Loverboy is the opening act

In August the Kia Forum will receive the “The Triple Moon Tour”, which has the Canadian singer Alanis Morissette as the headliner with Joan Jett and Morgan Wade as the opening acts. Alanis is currently promoting her latest album “The Storm Before the Calm” released in 2022. The legendary guitarist and singer Joan Jett also has new material to promote since she released in 2023 the new studio album “Mindsets”.

As for “Red Rocker” Sammy Hagar, he will be presenting the “Best of All Worlds” tour with a very special band formed by Joe Satriani (Guitar), Michael Anthony (Bass) and Jason Bonham (Drums). Besides Sammy’s solo work and a few Montrose songs, they will be focusing on the Van Halen catalog.

September

  • 6 – (Friday) – Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire
  • 18 – (Wednesday) – Hozier

In September, the Kia Forum will receive the “Heart & Soul” tour which has the legendary bands Chicago and Earth, Wind & Fire. Besides all their hits, Chicago is currently promoting their latest album “Chicago XXXVIII: Born for This Moment” released in 2022. As for Earth, Wind & Fire, their setlist will have all the hits from their career.

The Irish 33 year-old guitarist and singer Hozier will also perform at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles in September. He is currently promoting his new studio album “Unreal Unearth” released in 2023.

October

  • 8 – (Tuesday) – Iron Maiden

The legendary British Heavy Metal band Iron Maiden will continue on the road in 2024 with “The Future Past” tour. The band will perform at the Kia Forum on October 8, Tuesday, mixing many hits and b-sides. Tracks from their latest album “Senjutsu” released in 2021 are also on the setlist.

Since 1999, the band’s line-up has Bruce Dickinson (Vocals), Steve Harris (Bass), Nicko McBrain (Drums), Janick Gers (Guitar), Adrian Smith (Guitar) and Dave Murray (Guitar).

November

  • 1 – (Friday) – King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard

In November, The Kia Forum will receive the young Australian Rock band King Gizzard & The Lizzard Wizard. With a Psychedelic Rock sound, the band is currently promoting their latest album “The Silver Cord” released in 2023. With only 13 years of existence, the band has an impressive discography, with 25 studio albums.

The group is currently formed by Stu Mackenzie, Ambrose Kenny-Smith, Joey Walker, Cook Craig, Lucas Harwood and Michael “Cavs” Cavanagh.
