Count the seconds catch my breath
Feelings come and go again
Count my blessings hope they hear me too, too
Trapped inside this spider web
Scared of life and scared of death
Trapped inside these walls I built of doom, doom
Won’t you let me, won’t you let me through
Don’t regret me, even when I do
I’ve been calling out for someone
Mouth around the gun
Nothing feels right
Nothing feels right
All the pain gets trapped in my lungs
Drowning in my blood
Nothing feels right
Nothing feels right
Is it a lost fight
Or is it a long drive home
Long drive home
Lost what I’ve been dreaming of
One eye open one eye shut
Lost the only ones I ever loved
My reflection beats me up
Smiling as I take the punch
My reflection is my favorite drug
Won’t you let me, won’t you let me through
Don’t regret me, even when I do
I’ve been calling out for someone
Mouth around the gun
Nothing feels right
Nothing feels right
All the pain gets trapped in my lungs
Drowning in my blood
Nothing feels right
Nothing feels right
Is it a lost fight
Out on the front line
Will I watch the sunrise?
As I take the long drive home, long drive home
Long drive home
Long drive home
I’ve been calling out for someone
Mouth around the gun
Nothing feels right
Nothing feels right
All the pain gets trapped in my lungs
Drowning in my blood
Nothing feels right (x6)
Is it a lost fight
Out on the front line
Will I watch the sunrise?
As I take the long drive home
Besides Zakk Wylde, the new Ozzy album will also features guitarists Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi and Mike McCready. Besides Duff McKagan (Bass), Chad Smith (Drums), Rob Trujillo (Bass) and Chris Chaney (Bass).
In an official statement the musician talked about the new record, saying: “It was really great working with Tony. He’s the riff master. No one can touch him in that respect. I only wish we had these songs for Black Sabbath’s 13 album. Zakk is part of my family and always will be. The album needed that weight that his playing provides. He just came in and really sorted things out,” Ozzy Osbourne said.
The complete album will be released next September 9. His most recent one was “Ordinary Man” released in 2020.
