The Odyssey Theater, where the musician was performing, released the following statement:
“Last night (14/11), during a performance at the Odyssey Theater, the American musician CJ Ramone felt uncomfortable and fainted, so the presentation had to be stopped earlier.
Although we do not have specific information on the diagnosis after medical evaluation by the musician, we can inform that the house was air conditioned and that we are ready to help the production of the tour in what was necessary.
In its 14 years of activities, Odisseia Theater is proud to offer a suitable structure for all the artists and bands in Brazil and in several countries, including such names as Jello Biafra, Los Hermanos, Mundo Livre S / A, Black Rio Band and the ex -band bandmate Marky Ramone.
Every year more than 200 shows are performed in the house and we did not have reports of problems that had been caused by the temperature. However, we are already mobilizing ourselves for possible technical repairs that may be necessary.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience to the fans and we hope that CJ will recover well to take his show to other cities in Brazil.
