Primus honors Ozzy covering Black Sabbath’s “N.I.B.”
The power trio Primus paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne by playing Black Sabbath’s classic song “N.I.B.,” which was part of the band’s groundbreaking debut album released in 1970. Singer and entertainer Puddles Pity Party handled the vocals for the live tribute last July 28 in New Orleans.
Curiously, Primus had already covered that track in the studio with Ozzy on vocals in “Nativity in Black II”, a Sabbath tribute album released in 2000. Osbourne died last July 22 at the age of 76 after years dealing with Parkinson’s disease and other health issues.
