Jeff Lynne will continue to record albums after E.L.O’s final show
The final Electric Light Orchestra show, which is now called Jeff Lynne’s E.L.O., since he is the only original member of the band nowadays, will play their final show in 2025 at the Hyde Park in London. But Jeff Lynne told Mojo that he will only stop touring, because he wants to continue recording music, because that’s what he really loves to do.

“It will certainly be an emotional show for me, it has been great getting to tour the world and to this day at every show I am always surprised and delighted by the crowds and the energy they bring. I will miss it.”
“We will of course be playing all the songs the fans want to hear,” Lynne says. “As for surprises, these are the final shows so who knows what can happen!”
I am happy with what I’ve done, and the crowd reactions to the shows and the music have been amazing. This is not a farewell to music. I am excited to return to the studio full-time, which is what I love!” Jeff Lynne said.
Electric Light Orchestra is one of the most successful bands of all time, with an estimated amount of more than 50 million records sold worldwide. Led by the band’s singer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Lynne, they were active until 1986, returning from 2000 to 2001 and from 2014 until now.
