Chicago releases new song “If This Is Goodbye”
The legendary band Chicago released “If This Is Goodbye”, their first song in 8 years that looks back on their incredible journey in the music world. “Chicago is excited to drop the new single via BMG. The new track has delighted fans after being added into the set list of recent concerts – and will continue to be featured in live performances throughout the summer while on tour with Brian Wilson with Al Jardine and Blondie Chaplin. We’re immensily proud of this release, for those who wonder if the title or lyrics are meant to be taken literally, let us be clear. We are Feelin’ Stronger Everyday,” the band said in an statement.

Until now Chicago only called the track as “single” and dindn’t said anything about a new album.
The current line-up of the group has the original members Robert Lamm (Keyboardist), Lee Loughnane (Trumpeter) and James Pankow (Trombonist). Walter Parazaider (Saxophone, flute and clarinet) still is a member of the band but he retired from touring in 2017.
The band will celebrate their career on a co-headlining tour with Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson in the United States in 2022, the dates can be seen below.
