Midnight Butterfly, a band of girls ages 11 to 14, recorded a cover of Metallica’s classic “Enter Sandman.” The band was formed in Austin in Texas in 2014 and besides covers also already has original material.

Bassist Dori is the eldest at age 14 while drummer Kaiya and keyboardist Hannah are the youngest at age 11. They complete the band with the vocalist Lauren (12 years) and the guitarist Scarlett (13 years). The Midnight Butterfly aims to inspire others, especially young girls, to pick up an instrument to play Rock.
The band has played in several events including the Austin Trail of Lights, Georgetown Red Poppy Festival, Pecan Street Festival, HAAM benefit concert, Roller Derby, among others.
