The three-song performance included the debut airing of “Rats,” the opening track of the band’s new album. The tune is expected to be released later this month.
As reported, the new frontman is the first Ghost vocalist who is not a part of the Papa Emeritus bloodline in quite a long time.
The group’s previous singer, Papa Emeritus III, was forcibly taken from the stage during the final show of the band’s “Meliora” tour cycle last fall, with Papa Zero arriving to announce the beginning of “the Middle Ages.”
The Cardinal will make his official live debut on May 5 in Riverside, California, marking the beginning of the band’s “Rats on the Road” tour.

Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution.
