Twisted Sister is back on the road to celebrate their 50 years of existence and with Sebastian Bach on vocals, since due to health issues Dee Snider had to retire from touring. Their first show was last August 28 at the Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, as their alter-ego Bent Brother. The current line-up has the guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie Ojeda, bassist Russell Pzütto and drummer Joey Cassata. Besides songs of the band, curiously, the set also included two Skid Row tracks “I Remember You” and “Youth Gone Wild”.
Dee Snider previously said in an official statement that he can no longer perform on stage with the same level of intensity as before because he suffers from degenerative arthritis. Sebastian Bach revealed in an interview with Eddie Trunk that he has Snider’s blessing to tour with the band.
I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 9 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
