Triumph cancels 2026 tour dates due health issues
Triumph finally returned to the stage in 2026, playing their first shows since 2008. However, the band has now had to cancel the remaining 17 tour dates scheduled for this year due to health issues.
Bassist Mike Levine has been unable to join the band due to ongoing health issues, but Rik Emmett (Vocals and guitar) and Gil Moore (Drums and vocals) were on the road with Phil X (Guitar), Todd Kerns (Bass) and Brent Fitz (Drums). Phil X was part of the band in the 1990s replacing Rik, as well as bassist Todd Kerns and keyboardist Brent Fitz.
Triumph’s statement on the cancellation of its remaining 2026 tour dates:
“It is with deep disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the remaining 2026 RELOADED Tour dates due to sudden and unexpected medical circumstances affecting the band. With the second leg of the tour set to begin in just under three weeks, these circumstances prevent us from being able to rehearse and move forward with the current shows as planned. We recognize that this announcement comes on short notice, and sincerely apologize for the disappointment and inconvenience this will cause.”
“To our fans: thank you for your patience, understanding, and unwavering support. We’ve always known that TRIUMPH has the best fans in the world, and are continually humbled by the love you show us. Your support means more than we can put into lyrics, especially during a difficult time like this. Thankfully, the outlook is positive and we will be back on stage with you as soon as possible.”
“All tickets purchased for the affected dates will be refunded automatically through the original point of purchase. Ticketholders do not need to take any action to initiate their refunds. Fans with questions regarding their orders should contact the ticket provider from which they purchased their tickets,” the band said.
