The British Punk and Post Punk band The Damned released a cover of Pink Floyd’s “See Emily Play”, which is part of their upcoming covers studio album “Not Like Everybody Else“, which will be out next January 23. The band said it is a celebratory and personal record dedicated to the memory of Brian James, their founding guitarist who passed away earlier this year. The album also has versions of songs by The Yardbirds and The Stooges.
The band is currently formed by David Vanian (Vocals), Captain Sensible (Guitar), Monty Oxymoron (Keyboards), Paul Gray (Bass) and Rat Scabies (Drums).
