Simple Minds announces tour with Soft Cell and Modern English
The Scottish band Simple Minds announced the “Alive & Kicking” tour with special guests Soft Cell and Modern English. The bands will perform in the United States next May and June.

Besides “Alive and Kicking”, other hits by the Simple Minds are “Don’t You (Forget About Me)”, “Belfast Child” and “Someone Somewhere (In Summertime). The group still has the original members Jim Kerr (Vocals) and Charlie Burchill (Guitar, keyboards, saxophone and more).
The opening act Soft Cell is known for songs like “Tainted Love”, “Where Did Our Love Go?” and “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye”. Modern English has famous tracks like “I Melt With You”, “Someone’s Calling” and “Hands Across the Sea”.
Simple Minds talked about the tour, saying: “We’re thrilled to announce that Simple Minds will bring their Alive & Kicking Tour to North America this year – joined by special guests @softcellhq and @modernenglishofficial!”
“Pre-sale tickets will be available from Wednesday 29 January at 10am local time until Thursday 30 January at 10pm local time. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Friday 31st January at 10am local time.”
