Rival Sons announce new album and releases first single
The American band Rival Sons announced a new album called “Lightbringer” and released “Sweet Life”, the first single of the upcoming album that will be out next October 20. Curiously, this will be their second album released in 2023 since they already put out last June 2 the record “Darkfighter”.

Their current line-up is formed by: Jay Buchanan (Vocals), Scott Holiday (Guitar), Mike Miley (Drums), Dave Beste (Bass) and Todd Ögren (Keyboards – Studio and touring member).
The band’s vocalist talked about the upcoming record, saying: “Darkfighter is a new Rival Sons, and Lighbringer is the clear definition of what we are now. We broke ground on Darkfighter, but Lightbringer is a step beyond the personal innovation and exploration.”
“It goes a little further. We really took everything into our own hands and pushed to see how far we could go. It was a self-exploration to see who we were and who we’ll be now. We had more friction and compromise than ever, because we isolated the bare essence of where we needed to go—and then we went there,” Jay Buchanan.

With the upcoming album their discography will have 8 good records that made them one of the most praised bands that appeared during the last decades in the United States.
