Quiet Riot announces new singer and first 2027 tour dates
Quiet Riot will be back on the road next year with a new singer, 23-year-old John Torra, who replaces Jizzy Pearl, who was part of the group from 2013 to 2016 and again from 2019 to 2026. Torra was born on Long Island and used to front the New Jersey metal group Fire ‘N Ice.
He was selected from more than 700 submissions after the band announced they were auditioning singers. Frankie Banali’s widow, who is the band’s manager, talked about selecting John Torra. “We saw your comments, tags, and messages urging us to bring him on board. But what earned John the gig was his undeniable talent. His videos were outstanding—but when he stepped into the room with us, he blew the doors off our songs.”

Besides the new singer, Quiet Riot is formed by Rudy Sarzo (Bass), Alex Grossi (Guitar) and Johnny Kelly (Drums).
