Upon being interviewed in Metal Wani, Phil Anselmo talked about Pantera getting together and touring with a hologram by guitarist Dimebag Darrell.
“If we’re going to do that, it has to be perfect just like it was every night. No matter how drunk he was, once the guitar was in his hands, it turned into a machine, man. Then it would have to be perfect. ”
Anselmo also talked about revisiting his time on the Pantera in general, revealing that despite considering a gathering by the fans, he believes that for that to happen it has to be for a special reason. “Climbing the stage with the name Pantera in the background and not seeing my brother Dimebag by my side would be … it’s impossible for me now. I do not see this happening. I have to admit – I’m completely torn between this. I’m confused about this, “he confesses.
