Metallica announces 10 shows in 5 festivals for 2020

Metallica will be the headliner of five US festivals between May, September and October 2020. Performances will roll at Epicenter, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life and Aftershock.

The news is that the band will play two nights of each event, always on Fridays and Sundays.

The announcement was unveiled after a countdown at the Metallicaxx.Com hotsite that ended last Thursday.

The 2020 tour dates are:

  • MAY 03 Charlotte, NC, United States Epicenter at Charlotte Motor Speedway
  • MAY 08 Daytona Beach, FL, United States Welcome to Rockville at the Daytona International Speedway
  • MAY 10 Daytona Beach, FL, United States Welcome to Rockville at the Daytona International Speedway
  • MAY 15 Columbus, OH, United States Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival at MAPFRE Stadium
  • MAY 17 Columbus, OH, United States Sonic Temple Art + Music Festival at MAPFRE Stadium
  • SEP 18 Louisville, KY, United States Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center
  • SEP 20 Louisville, KY, United States Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center
  • SEP 26 TBD Global Citizen Festival
  • OCT 09 Sacramento, CA, United States Aftershock at Discovery Park
