Iron Maiden drummer Nicko McBrain, who retired from touring with the band in 2024, recently announced his autobiography, “Hello Boys and Girls!”, and revealed spoken-word tour dates to promote the book. So far, only European dates have been announced, and he will visit Germany, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Malta, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
“It’s been a real honour to write my very own autobiography and have the chance to walk down memory lane, revisiting all the experiences that have made me who I am and brought me to where I am today. And I’m thrilled and delighted to be taking those stories on the road and share them all with you. I feel truly blessed to be able to say Hello Boys And Girls to you all in person later this year. We’re going to have a lot of fun together, so come and join me for a great night out. I’ve got a LOT of stories I want to tell you all!” Nicko McBrain said.
Nicko McBrain was born in Hackney, London in 1952 and besides being a member of Iron Maiden for more than 40 years, he also played before with bands like Trust, Streetwalkers and Pat Travers.
I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
