Hear the new Tony Iommi song “Stormwatcher”

Legendary Black Sabbath co-founder and guitarist Tony Iommi released “Stormwatcher”, the second single of his upcoming solo album “From the Dark”. Singer Jorn Lande talked about the track’s lyrics, saying: “It channels something from within, something real. We are the captain of our own vessel, a ship crashing through unknown and sometimes challenging waters, always navigating forward, steering steady through every storm, driven by dreams of new horizons and longing for something new.”

The full record will be released next October 23 and were also part Norwegian vocalist Jorn Lande (Avantasia and more), British bassist Becky Baldwin (Mercyful Fate, Hands Off Gretel, session work, and more), and British drummer Karl Brazil (Robbie Williams, James Blunt, and more). Both Baldwin and Brazil are from Birmingham, the hometown of all four original Black Sabbath members. Iommi’s best friend, Queen guitarist Brian May also appears in one of the tracks.
