Successor of Redeemer Of Souls (2014), the album was produced by Andy Sneap, Tom Longom’s longtime collaborator and engineer Mike Exeter.
The powerful album cover was created by the Chilean / Italian artist Claudio Bergamin and you can see it just below.
During an interview with British Metal Hammer, frontman Rob Halford spoke about the themes that make up Firepower: “We always try to be ambiguous so our fans can play the music the way they want, but in this we are talking about Mother Earth and the house that is on Downing Street. But we found a balance to not sound so intense. ”
After the release of the album, the band will travel in its first part of the new tour in the United States. They will be accompanied by the Saxon and Black Star Riders.
