Kiss bassist and vocalist Gene Simmons is about to release his new book called 27: The Legend and Mythology of The 27 Club.

The book promises to deconstruct and question what makes rich and famous musicians destroy themselves at such a young age.
The 27 Club has been acquiring new members for decades. From Jimi Hendrix to Janis Joplin, from Kurt Coban to Amy Winehouse. “Frances Beans, daughter of Kurt Cobain is my son’s friend. ‘Hey, it’s really cool that your dad dies on drugs while you’re still a baby.’ No, it’s not.
