Gene Simmons says Kiss recorded a new song written by Paul Stanley
Although Kiss did their farewell tour and played their final concert in 2023, when they celebrated 50 years of their career, the band did not end at all. They had already announced that, in the near future, they will launch a “digital tour” featuring their avatars and have also performed unmasked at special Kiss events, but now Gene Simmons has confirmed that they have recorded a brand new song written by Paul Stanley.
“KISS is in the studio now. So we just recorded a new song, as a matter of fact, that Paul wrote. I can’t tell you more about it. And that’ll be coming out at some point,” Gene Simmons said in an interview with Sienna Hernandez. Kiss will be part of the upcoming Kiss Kruise: Land Locked in Vegas, which will take place from November 13 to 15. There will be two unmasked shows featuring the band’s final lineup, including Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer.
Also part of the festival are Night Ranger, Bruce Kulick, Slaughter, Faster Pussycat, Keel, Kuarantine, Rock and Roll Over, radio host Tommy London, School of Rock, and a special Ace Frehley All-Star Tribute featuring members of Kiss. Meanwhile, Gene Simmons, who has been touring with his solo band over the past few years, still has some scheduled shows this year.
