Tim Ripper Owens, former vocalist for Judas Priest and Iced Earth, joined Glen Drover (Ex-Megadeth, King Diamond, Testament, Eidolon), Shawn Drover (Megadeth, Act of Defiance, Eidolon) and Adrian Robichaud (Eidolon) to play Metal Classics in Montreal, Canada.

Glen, Shawn and Adrian have a 10-year history in the band Eidolon.

Read what Glen said to Cornwall Seeker:

“Shawn is my brother, and TIm and I have been friends for some time. So when we got together, we needed a bass player, we called Adrian without thinking. The chemistry is there, and this is very important when you do shows just once in a while. I live in Windson, and the others live in Atlanta. You can not spend a week rehearsing. We need people we can trust. ”

Of the Night Of Metal gigs, Glen said “Fans can relate to both the song and the members of our band. If we play Megadeth, or Judas Priest, or some other classic like Ozzy Osbourne, we’re good at what we do and it will be a great show. ”

Owens recorded two albums with Judas Priest, Jugulator in 1997 and Demolition in 2011. Glen left Megadeth in 2007, send replaced by Chris Broderick, who previously played Nevermore. Shawn joined Megadeth in 2004, replacing Nick Menza.

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
