Echo & The Bunnymen announces new album and releases first single

Echo & The Bunnymen released “Brussels is Haunted”, the first single of their 13th album “Apples for Isaac“, the first one in 12 years. The record will be released next September and features the late Blondie drummer Clem Burke, who passed away in April 2025, on 10 of it’s 11 tracks. “The mighty, legendary Clem Burke – longtime friend of Mac (frontman Ian McCulloch) – was integral to the making of the album, and heartbreakingly passed away during its completion… love you Clem X,” the band said.

Echo & The Bunnymen was formed in Liverpool in 1978 and nowadays has two original members: Will Sergeant (Guitar) and Ian McCullouch (Vocals and guitar). They are accompanied by the touring members Stephen Brannan (Bass), Colin Mackin (Bass), Simon Finley (Drums), Pete Reilly (Guitar) and Mike Smith (Keyboards).
