Electra Mustaine, daughter of Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine, posted a message on twitter supporting her father, who was diagnosed with throat cancer.
The 21-year-old post two photos of Dave, one of them when she was still a baby. In the caption, Electra wrote:
“I would do and give anything for this man. Dad… I love you so so much. You‘ve taught me what love should look like, taught me reliability, perseverance, commitment….and mostly, strength. On days when you can’t, I will give you mine.”
Dave Mustaine recently revealed that he was diagnosed with throat cancer:
“I’ve been diagnosed with throat cancer. It’s clearly something to be respected and faced head on – but I’ve faced obstacles before. I’m working closely with my doctors, and we’ve mapped out a treatment plan which they feel has a 90% success rate. Treatment has already begun.”
