The legendary original Black Sabbath drummer Bill Ward released a new song called “Powder On The Moon”.
The song is one of the tracks originally intended for “Beyond Aston”. Bill’s still-unreleased solo album that he started working on back in the late ’90s.

He is one of the founders of Black Sabbath. It came in 8th place on the list of the “50 best hard rock and metal drummers of all time” on the Loudwire website. On Rolling Stone magazine list, Ward ranked 42 out of the “100 Greatest Drummers of All Time.
Bill Ward and Tonny Iommi played in a band called Mythology, later joined by vocalist and bassist for the band Rare Breed, Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler, then formed Black Sabbath. From 1969 to 1980 Ward participated in all Black Sabbath albums.
Bill was touring with Day Of Errors, he most recent band but the tour was canceled due to Ward’s heart problems. He said: “I wound up in hospital this past weekend with heart problems. I am OK and in good recovery at this time. However, I’ve never experienced this particular type of heart problem before, and due to its nature, I had to make the decision to cancel the dates.”
