Megadeth is currently on its farewell tour while also promoting its final album, which was released earlier this year. The band has many scheduled shows across the United States and Oceania in 2026, but has already announced the first dates of its 2027 tour, which will take place across Europe next March and April. Called "Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations", this European tour will feature Black Label Society and Testament as opening acts. The Thrash Metal band will perform in the United Kingdom, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Megadeth's final lineup features Dave Mustaine (vocals, guitar), Teemu Mäntysaari (guitar), James LoMenzo (bass), and Dirk Verbeuren (drums). Dave talked about the shows, saying: "This isn't about saying goodbye. It's about celebrating everything we've built together over the last four decades. Every city has its own story, every crowd has given us unforgettable memories, and we want to come back to celebrate that with the fans who made it all possible. When we started talking about this tour, we wanted it to be a true celebration of metal. Black Label Society and Testament are bands we have tremendous respect for, and having them join us makes these shows even more special. This lineup represents decades of heavy music, and it's going to be an incredible night for the fans."
