Sisters of Mercy 2024 tour

All The Sisters of Mercy 2024 tour dates

The Sisters of Mercy will continue on the road in 2024 and they had scheduled tour dates in Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands and Slovakia in the first months of 2024. Now they also announced an extensive North American tour next September and October so far. As the description of the band in their official website says: “We are a rock‘n’roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. We are intellectual love gods. We make records, sometimes. We play concerts, sometimes. You’re here anyway.”

Formed in Leeds, England back in 1980, the group has only three studio albums: “First and Last and Always” (1985), “Floodland” (1987) and “Vision Thing” (1990) but those records are filled with classics. Some of them are: “More”, “Lucretia My Reflection”, “Temple of Love” and “Black Planet”.

The singer and multi-instrumentalist Andrew Eldritch is the only original member of the group and is accompanied by Ben Christo  (Guitar, bass – Since 2006), Kai (Guitar – Since 2023) and Chris Catalyst (Doktor Avalanche operator – Since 2023). The band doesn’t have a drummer but a drum machine that is nicknamed “Doktor Avalanche”.

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
