After more than 50 years on the road, Aerosmith said that they will make one last tour. The band formed in 1970 announced the “Peace Out” farewell tour that has scheduled dates for the United States and Canada next September, October, November, December and January with The Black Crowes as their opening act.
The band released a funny promo video for the tour that has many special guests like Slash, Ringo Starr, Eminem, Kelly Clarkson and Dolly Parton.
Since the original drummer Joey Kramer didn’t appear on the official promotion video, it seems he will not initially be part of the tour. He has been in and out of the band over the years due to internal and personal issues. John Douglas has been his substitue since 2020.
The rest of the classic members will be part of the tour: Steven Tyler (75), Tom Hamilton (71), Brad Whitford (71) and Joe Perry (72). “It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives,” Aerosmith said in an official statement.
