AC/DC played their first concert in more than 7 years

After seven years AC/DC is finally back on stage and made an incredible return with a breathtaking show in Indio, California at the Power Trip festival last saturday. The band played many classic songs from Bon Scott’s and Brian Johnson’s era also playing “Shot In The Dark” and “Demon Fire” from their most recent album “Power Up”, released in 2020.

Their current line-up has Brian Johnson (Vocals), Cliff Williams (Bass), Angus Young (Guitar) and Stevie Young (Guitar). The fans of the band have an expectation that the show at the Power Trip festival was a test event for the band to take the next step, which would be a world tour.

The Power Trip festival happened last weekend with Guns N’ Roses, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, AC/DC, Metallica and Tool at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

AC/DC’s most recent album “Power Up” was released in 2020 marking the return of Brian Johnson and drummer Phil Rudd to the band. However, Rudd wasn’t part of this concert at Power Trip and there is no information about why he is not in the band again.

The album has praised tracks like “Realize”, “Shot In The Dark”, Through The Mists of Time”, “Witch’s Spell” and “Demon Fire”.
