See the new music video of Robert Plant and Saving Grace song “Two Coats”
Robert Plant and Saving Grace released the music video of the song “Two Coats”, from their EP “Saving Grace: All That Glitters…”, that will be out digitally next October 9. The extended play have previously been made available as a vinyl EP on Record Store Day, the annual celebration of independent record stores last April 18. They have been playing the song at their shows this year.
The record explores the Folk and American songs that the singer and the group likes. Are also part “The Blackest Crow”, Gillian Welch’s “Orphan Girl” and Bert Jansch’s “Poison”.
“We’ve had these songs that we normally might play on stage that we’ve decided to record. It’s a great Ralph Stanley song called ‘Two Coats’. Bert Jansch wrote a song called ‘Poison’ and we’ve sent that into the very late ’80s, sort of this mortal coil gets happy, happy go lucky, but not too American-y,” Robert Plant said.
Saving Grace is formed by Suzi Dian (Vocals), Oli Jefferson (Drums), Tony Kelsey (Guitar), Matt Worley (Banjo and string) and Barney Morse-Brown (Cello).
