Grand Funk Railroad announces their first 2027 tour dates

Earlier this year, Grand Funk Railroad announced plenty of 2026 tour dates but also revealed that their longtime vocalist Max Carl, who had been with the band since 2000, had retired from touring due to a medical issue. Lead vocals were then divided between original drummer and co-lead vocalist Don Brewer and the band’s longtime keyboardist Tim Cashion.

The band has just announced that they are extending their current tour into 2027. Besides Brewer and Cashion, the lineup also features original bassist Mel Schacher and guitarist Mark Chatfield, who joined the band in 2024.
