Hear the new Bob Seger song “Little Jane”
Bob Seger has released a new song, “Little Jane”, one of four previously unreleased tracks that will appear on the remastered and expanded edition of his 2006 album Face the Promise, his first studio record in 11 years at the time of its original release. The expanded edition celebrates the album’s 20th anniversary.
The other previously unreleased songs included on the release are “Time”, “Red Eye to Memphis”, and “Let Me Try”. Seger celebrated his 81st birthday on May 6. His final live performance took place during his Roll Me Away Tour, which concluded with a show at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Face the Promise was Bob Seger’s 16th studio album. He went on to release two more studio records: Ride Out (2014) and I Knew You When (2017). Over a career spanning nearly six decades, Seger wrote numerous classic hits, including “Night Moves”, “Turn the Page”, “Against the Wind”, “Hollywood Nights”, “Still the Same”, “Like a Rock”, “Shakedown”, and “Old Time Rock and Roll”. He also co-wrote the Eagles hit “Heartache Tonight”.
Seger has sold an estimated 50 million-plus records worldwide, making him one of the most influential and successful American musicians of all time.
