Smashing Pumpkins releases new song “Chrome Jets”
Smashing Pumpkins released a new song called “Chrome Jets”, which was recorded during the sessions of their 2024 album “Aghori Mhori Mei”. It was their first album without the guitarist Jeff Schroeder who left in 2023. He was replaced by Kiki Wong, who was not part of that record.
The band’s current line-up has Billy Corgan (Vocals, guitar, keyboards), Jimmy Chamberlin (Drums) and James Iha (Guitar). They are accompanied by the session musicians: Jack Bates (Bass), Katie Cole (Keyboards, guitar) and Kiki Wong (Guitar).

Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988, The Smashing Pumpkins became one of the most influential Alternative Rock bands from the past decades. Led by the band’s main songwriter, guitarist and singer Billy Corgan they released so far 13 studio albums with many successful albums. Some of them are “Siamese Dream” (1993), “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” (1995) and “Adore” (1998)
