Bob Dylan plays “All Along the Watchtower” after six years

After six years, Bob Dylan played again one of his most famous songs: “All Along The Watchtower”, which became even more famous after Jimi Hendrix successfully covered it. The musician performed that song during his show last September 12 at the Blossom Music Center in Cleveland.

The curious thing is that the show was part of the Outlaw Music Festival, headlined by Willie Nelson. But before Dylan’s show, who played was John Cougar Mellencamp, who 90 minutes before Dylan, performed a cover of “All Along The Watchtower”.

According to Setlist.fm, Dylan played that song more than 2200 times during his career.
