VH1 is a television channel specialized in music and back in the 00’s the channel presented many lists of the greatest bands or songs from a genre. One of them was the The 100 best hard rock bands. The list had many great choices but also some bands that are not very hard rock. But the bands were chosen after votes from many musicians such as Anthrax’s Scott Ian, that picked Black Sabbath.
