Alice Cooper announces Christmas charity event with Rob Halford

Every year Alice Cooper promotes charity party Christmas Pudding, a fundraiser event to help to benefit the free music, dance, arts, and vocational programs for teens 12-20 at Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers.

Besides Cooper, this year event that happens on December 14 at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, will have Rob Halford, Joe Bonamassa, Nita Strauss, Michael Bruce, Neal Smith and Dennis Dunaway.

Tickets prices range from $50-$220 (VIP $800), and fans can buy them at Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., in Phoenix, or online at www.celebritytheatre.com. To charge by phone, call 602-267-1600 . All ages are welcome.

Randy Spencer, who handles partnerships and fundraising for Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock, said:

“We do weed it down a little bit. But the majority of the people that don’t make it have told us, ‘Oh, I’ve only been playing guitar for a week’ or ‘I’ve only been a band for three days.’ They’re just not really ready for it yet. We do want to encourage kids as a charity, but it is a competition to also open for Alice Cooper. So we do want a bare minimum of talent level to be there in the competition.”
