Ozzy Osbourne recorded new songs during recovery

Ozzy Osbourne recently spoke with Rolling Stone and revealed that during the recovery from his surgery, he was writing and recording new songs.

Joking that his new album might be called Recuperation, he said:

“The most depressing thing I’ve been thinking is, ‘Am I gonna walk properly again? Am I gonna be able to perform again?’ and I thought, ‘Well, if I just lay there watching fucking World at War again, I’m not gonna fucking do anything.”

“So do what you can, even if it’s a little, just so you’re doing stuff… I don’t think I can do a rock concert right now. I’ll go, ‘Hello’, and that’s it!”

Ozzy expects to return on January 20 to finish the No More Tours 2:

“The progress is so fucking slow,” he says. “It’s like, ‘Come on!’

“My date is January, I hope to fucking God, ’cause I’m gonna go fucking nuts. We’re just keeping our fingers crossed. It’s like making a sculpture – you chip away at it and it turns into this thing. You have to resculpture your life again.”

I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
