A week before releasing his latest solo album, Carry Fire, the iconic former lead singer of Led Zeppelin performed an one hour concert on BBC radio 6. He performed new songs and classics.

He’s new LP was announced in August and he said that his main focus this time around was “intention.”
“I respect and relish my past works, but each time I feel the incentive to create new work, I must mix old with new,” he said. “Consequently, the whole impetus of the band has moved on its axis somewhat – the new sound and different space giving way to exciting and dramatic landscapes of mood, melody and instrumentation.”
