The Who releases new song “I Don’t Wanna Get Wise”

Roger Daltrey Pete Tonshend

The Who is in full swing with the release of new studio work, Who, scheduled for December 6th. After releasing “Ball and Chain” and “All This Music Must Fade“, the British band have just released the track “I Don’t Wanna Get Wise”. It’s the third single from what will be their first album in 13 years.

About the composition, guitarist Pete Townshend explains:

[It was written] in a mid-70s style, like it was from a record like “Who By Numbers.” Warning: do not get old. You can be wise.”

The proposal was successfully achieved, as the song really seems to have come straight out of the 70’s. The unmistakable Roger Daltrey brings yet another great performance.
