AC/DC is finally back on the road in 2024 and will perform all over the world with a line-up that has Angus Young (Guitar), Brian Johnson (Vocals), Stevie Young (Guitar) and the touring musicians Mutt Laug (Drums) and Chris Chaney (Bass). For personal reasons, Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd won’t be joining the group on the road this year.
The first concert of the Hard Rock band after eight years happened in October 2023 in California at the Power Trip Festival and the possible setlist of their 2024 shows will probably be quite similar to that one. It had obviously many classics from the Brian Johnson era with the band but also many other classics of Bon Scott’s albums.
So we can expect a setlist similar to the one from Power Trip but with certainly a few new additions and that could change over the year and from country to country. They can choose to play a few different songs depending on the audience and how famous a particular song is in the country they are performing.
The possible AC/DC 2024 tour setlist
AC/DC played for two hours at the Power Trip festival and their setlist had 24 songs. It was exactly 50% of Bon Scott’s era and 50% of Brian Johnson’s era.
12 songs from the AC/DC albums before Johnson were played and it was the first time they performed the track “Riff Raff” from “Powerage” (1978) live with Brian. So it really shows how the band wants to cover both eras, showing it’s a real celebration of their entire career.
Since the new tour is to promote their most recent album “Power Up” there will certainly be songs from the record. At Power Trip they performed two: “Demon Fire”, “Shot In The Dark”.
- If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It) (Bon Scott era)
- Back in Black
- Demon Fire
- Shot Down in Flames (Bon Scott era)
- Thunderstruck
- Have a Drink on Me
- Hells Bells
- Shot in the Dark
- Stiff Upper Lip
- Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap (Bon Scott era)
- Shoot to Thrill
- Sin City (Bon Scott era)
- Givin the Dog a Bone
- Rock ‘n’ Roll Train
- You Shook Me All Night Long
- Dog Eat Dog (Bon Scott era)
- High Voltage (Bon Scott era)
- Hell Ain’t a Bad Place to Be (Bon Scott era)
- Riff Raff (Bon Scott era)
- Highway to Hell (Bon Scott era)
- Whole Lotta Rosie (Bon Scott era)
- Let There Be Rock (Bon Scott era)
- T.N.T. (Bon Scott era)
- For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)
The band
AC/DC was formed by the brothers Malcolm and Angus Young in Sydney, Australia back in 1973. In less than a decade later they became one of the best-selling bands of all time and since then have sold an estimated amount of more than 200 million records worldwide.
