Styx and Cheap Trick will team up in 2026 for a special tour in the United States from January to June. Both bands are currently promoting new albums: Cheap Trick “All Washed Up” and Styx “Circling from Above”, both released in 2025.
Cheap Trick is currently formed by Rick Nielsen (Guitar), Tom Petersson (Bass) and Robin Zander (Vocals, guitar). They are accompanied by Nielsen’s and Zander’s sons: Daxx Nielsen (Drums) and Robin Taylor Zander (Guitar).
Styx’s current line-up has “James “J.Y.” Young (Guitar), Chuck Panozzo (Bass – part time), Tommy Shaw (Guitar and vocals), Todd Sucherman (Drums), Lawrence Gowan (Keyboards), Will Evankovich (Guitar) and Terry Gowan (Bass)
