Stray Cats announces 2025 tour dates

Stray Cats

In the beginning of 2025 the Stray Cats vocalist and guitarist Brian Setzer revealed that he was unable to play the guitar due to an autoimmune disease he didn’t specify. According to him there was no pain but he felt like he was wearing a pair of gloves when he played and at the time he couldn’t hold a pen or tie his own shoes.

But now the musician is feeling better since Stray Cats announced a good amount of tour dates across the United States next October and November. Besides Setzer, the band is formed by Lee Rocker (Bass) and Slim Jim Phantom (Drums).

What the musicians said about the tour

Brian Setzer: “What blows me away every time is how this music still connects — decades later, it’s just as raw, just as real. We see fans from every generation now.”

Lee Rocker: “There’s nothing like the sound we make when the three of us hit the stage–it’s high-octane rockabilly, loud and proud. We’re fired up to bring that to fans across the country again!”

Slim Jim Phantom: “HOLY MACKEREL! The Cats are back for a very special indoor tour. I’m thrilled and excited to be on the road in 2025 with the best Rockabilly band in the world! These are the venues where the Cats sound best and one thing I can guarantee 100%…We Will Rock Your Town!!”

The group already released nine studio albums, the most recent one “40” made in 2019.

Rafael Polcaro: I'm a Brazilian journalist who always loved Classic Rock and Heavy Metal music. That passion inspired me to create Rock and Roll Garage over 6 years ago. Music has always been a part of my life, helping me through tough times and being a support to celebrate the good ones. When I became a journalist, I knew I wanted to write about my passions. After graduating in journalism from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais, I pursued a postgraduate degree in digital communication at the same institution. The studies and experience in the field helped me improve the website and always bring the best of classic rock to the world! MTB: 0021377/MG
