Steve Harris says Iron Maiden is obviously in the end of their careers

During a recent interview with Mitch Lafon, Steve Harris revealed what he thinks about his retirement and ending Iron Maiden’s activities.

He said:

“I try not to think too much about it, because it’s not really a cool thing (laughs) to be thinking about the end of the career. I mean, obviously, we’re at the end of our career and not at the beginning, that’s the way it is.”

“But we sure think we can go on for a little longer, but you never know. I think you only notice the thing when it arrives, especially when it reaches the age we are in. You never know what’s going to happen, especially after what happened with Bruce and everything else (referring to the illness that hit the vocalist).”

“So you should just enjoy and enjoy life and go out and have fun, which is exactly what we’re doing – we’re enjoying it, probably more than ever. But for how long we will continue, I do not know. They have asked us this question for twenty years or more. We are still in this, and we will continue as long as we can. But you know how long it will be like this? ”
