Steve Harris’ British Lion announce 2023 tour dates

British Lion, the side project of the Iron Maiden founder, bassist and main lyricist Steve Harris announced new 2023 tour dates.

The shows will happen next May, June and July in Slovenia, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Poland, France, Germany, Ireland, England, Netherlands, Italy and Spain. The will have as opening acts on selected dates the abdns Airforce, Stray and DarkTribe.

“We just had a brilliant time on the January UK tour and it’s great to be heading out again in 2023. I’m really looking forward to both Summer tours this year!” Steve Harris said in an official statement.

Formed in 2012 released two studio albums: “British Lion” (2012) and “The Burning” (2020). The band’s current line-up has: Steve Harris (Bass), Richard Taylor (Vocals), David Hawkins (Guitar, keyboards), Grahame Leslie (Guitar) and Simon Dawson (Drums).

Curiously, the British Lion and Iron Maiden tour will happen almost at the same time. Harris will play with Lion one or two days before Iron Maiden in many cities of the tour. He also will have the opportunity to perform with British Lion and Maiden at the same festivals.
