Slash has just released another clip from his album with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. This is “Driving Rain,” a song whose video shows the musicians turned into cloth dolls and is quite entertaining.
Check it out:
The guitarist talked a bit about the idea and the partnership with Stoopid Buddy studios, responsible for the work:
“The idea behind making an animated video for ‘Driving Rain’ is mainly due to the obscure subject of music, which influenced the directors to create very dramatic, dark and obscure scripts that were not at all amusing – not to offend them. So I wanted to create something that could be ironic and yet be obscure with an animation. We are all great Stoopid Buddy fans and they have created a great concept and treatment. We loved the video and it was brilliant. For your information, no dolls were harmed during the production of this video.”
The album tracklist:
- The Call of the Wild
- Serve You Right
- My Antidote
- Mind Your Manners
- Lost Inside the Girl
- Read Between the Lines
- Slow Grind
- The One You Loved Is Gone
- Driving Rain
- Sugar Cane
- The Great Pretender
- Boulevard of Broken Hearts
