The Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey died last year at age 67 from complications of rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis, and pneumonia, while recovering from gastrointestinal tract surgery.
Now, his Los Angeles mansion has been put up for sale, with a price tag of almost $15 million. The Spanish-style property, which spans 9,000 square feet, was built in 1996 and bought by Frey and his wife Cindy in 2002.
The house is located in the exclusive Brentwood area, the house includes six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two family rooms, a basement bar and a home theater. The grounds contain a pool and spa, fitness center and rose gardens. Sales agents Redfin are offering arranged tours of the mansion.
Cindy Frey is reported to have purchased a smaller home near the mansion, while the family is said to own other houses in La Quinta, Calif., Maui, Colorado and New York City.
