KISS kicked off their much-talked-about farewell tour in january 31 in Vancouver, Canada.
With 20 songs, lots of pyrotechnics, makeup and platform jumps, the presentation had sold out months before it happened. The band played their biggest hits as “Detroit Rock City,” “Lick It Up,” “I Was Made for Lovin You” , “Rock and Roll All Nite,” and others.
One mystery that lingered over the show was whether Ace Frehley and Peter Criss, former KISS members, would appear for some special participation. Well, that did not happen, and it may not happen for the rest of the tour, since Frehley declared war against bassist Gene Simmons (see more about).
The tour continues and has confirmed dates until November (!) This year in the United States and Europe.
